A Sweet & Sustainable Christmas: My Chocolate Adventure in York
My winter adventure at York Chocolate Story 🍫
Hello everyone! I’m Sofonie Dala, a Chevening scholar from Angola, and I’m thrilled to take you on a delicious journey back to one of my most unforgettable Christmas adventures in York, the chocolate capital of the world! Now, picture this: a winter wonderland where the air is filled with the delightful aroma of chocolate, and the streets are aglow with festive lights.
Last Christmas, I found myself wandering into York’s Chocolate Story, a place that feels like Willy Wonka’s dream come true! I couldn’t resist joining Santa’s Christmas Tour, where I got to meet the jolly man himself. Let me tell you, Santa’s got some serious chocolate skills! He even offered me a cheeky chocolate coin, which I may or may not have tried to sneak into my pocket!
Next up was the Christmas Truffle Rolling Tour. Imagine rolling up your sleeves and getting covered in chocolate ganache while trying to create the perfect truffle. Spoiler alert: I ended up with more chocolate on my face than in the box! But hey, it’s all part of the fun, right?
The highlight was definitely the Christmas Family Masterclass. We all got to unleash our inner chocolatiers, crafting our own sweet masterpieces. I may have accidentally created a chocolate sculpture that looked more like a snowman gone rogue, but my family insisted it was “unique.”
And for the grown-ups? Oh, let’s not forget the Christmas Masterclass and the Chocolate & Gin Tour! I mean, who wouldn’t want to sip festive cocktails while nibbling on rich chocolate? It’s a match made in heaven!
So, if you’re looking for a way to sprinkle some magic into your Christmas holidays, join us at York’s Chocolate Story. It’s an experience filled with laughter, creativity, and, of course, endless chocolate. Don’t miss out on the sweetest Christmas you could ever imagine—come and create your own chocolate adventure with us! Indulge in a little chocolate magic and make memories that will last a lifetime. See you there!
